“DEVASTATED: Colorado’s Fentanyl Disaster” - A new documentary from Steffan Tubbs’ Mountain Time Media

We are honored to have Steffan Tubbs as a featured speaker at the Technolink Presidents’ Club Spring Forum on April 9, 2024. As a long-time producer of documentaries, we are proud to share news of his most recent documentary from Mountain Time Media: "DEVASTATED: Colorado’s Fentanyl Disaster.”

Fentanyl is now the leading cause of death for Americans 18 to 45 years of age. The Drug Enforcement Administration calls the fentanyl epidemic "the deadliest drug threat our country has ever faced." The film includes the heartbreaking stories of parents who have lost children to fentanyl poisoning, law enforcement, recovering addicts, politicians, the medical community and even a drug dealer who describes his fentanyl operations.

Though this documentary focuses on Colorado, it is emblematic of what every state in the country is experiencing today.

The trailer follows below. A full release is planned for May 15, 2024.

Steffan Tubbs spent nearly 34 years as a newsman - with career stops at ABC News in Los Angeles, Fox in New York and most recently the past six years as a talk show host in Denver before retiring from radio last fall.

In his career, Steffan has covered the Oklahoma City bombing and trials, Columbine, 9/11, mass shootings, natural disasters and was embedded as a journalist in Israel and twice in Iraq with U.S. troops.

Earlier this year, Steffan became Public Affairs Officer for the Drug Enforcement Administration Rocky Mountain Division - covering Colorado, Utah, Wyoming and Montana.

Steffan is a San Diego native, graduated with a journalism degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and earned his Master's from Cal State Dominguez Hills.

Prior to joining DEA, Steffan finished filming his soon-to-be released ninth documentary film. This film focuses on the fentanyl crisis and is titled, "DEVASTATED: Colorado’s Fentanyl Disaster."
