Applications for nature's catalysts - enzymes - are growing rapidly, driven both by a large expansion in the number of enzymes that are available and the increasing need for optically-pure intermediates for the production of pharmaceuticals. Successful examples of commercial biocatalytic processes are being reported with greater frequency. As a result, researchers have become more willing to consider biocatalytic processes as viable alternatives to traditional chemical methods. Biocatalysis is beginning to have an impact on chemical process development in the pharmaceutical and agricultural industries. This trend will almost certainly continue with increasing vigor.

BioCatalytics, Inc. was established to help companies identify opportunities for the application of enzymes, and then rapidly develop and implement enzyme-based processes. Enzymes can compete with, and in some cases, can outperform other catalysts, particularly when high specificity and selectivity are important. BioCatalytics' goal is to reinforce the existing trend toward the use of enzymatic catalysis, and help companies discover better routes for the production of key chemical products. Our experience in the development and implementation of biocatalytic processes from laboratory to commercial scale is available to serve the needs of customers on a confidential basis.

DRIVE Mobile Entertainment is a division of Mobile Entertainment Communication and Information Systems Incorporated (MECIS Inc.). It serves as the retail arm of the company, providing top-quality mobile entertainment solutions to consumers across the nation. We are based in the heart of Southern California in the city of Garden Grove.

MECIS Inc. is a designer, importer and manufacturer of mobile entertainment systems for automobiles. Since the introduction of small LCD monitors into the automotive market some 5 years ago our management team has been involved in designing systems for this booming industry.

We have been in business since January 1999. Initially, we focused on establishing the design criteria for the new industry in both overhead flip-down monitor systems and headrest seat-back systems. In addition to working with some other national manufacturers such as Rosen Products and Magnadyne, we developed our own product and distributed that nationally through a custom installer base and national distributors.

DRIVE Mobile Entertainment and MECIS Inc. stand for quality and service. We are committed to serving our customers by supplying superior products at great prices and offering person-to-person customer support.
