The Jet Propulsion Laboratory
(JPL), an operating
division of the California Institute of Technology, is the National
Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) lead center for the robotic
exploration of the solar system. JPL also conducts a variety of research
and development work for other federal agencies. Through these efforts,
the Laboratory creates a wealth of technology and expertise in key fields
-- from space science and instruments, through telecommunications and
spacecraft component design and systems integration, to automation,
microdevices, electronics, and software.
JPL's Commercial Technology
organization maintains a Technology Transfer home page at http://techtransfer.jpl.nasa.gov
which allows users to view (and request additional information on)
thousands of technologies which were developed at JPL (or under contract
to JPL). Information is also available on how various organizations
can work with JPL on projects or problems.
