O'Neill, President, CEO and Founder of
The O'Neill Company:
Since founding
The O’Neill Company over two decades ago,
Terry R. O’Neill has provided guidance
and leadership in health and welfare benefit programs, business
succession planning, in addition to estate, financial and insurance
planning for thousands of enterprises and individuals through
out the United States. His company provides consultation and design
services in the areas of retirement planning, executive benefit
planning, deferred compensation arrangements, and other forms
of benefit planning.
Mr.
O’Neill has held a variety of leadership roles
in the financial services industry. He is past President of the
International Forum and a former board member of the Association
for Advanced Life Underwriting (AALU). He has also served
as an advisor to several life insurance companies and, from 2000-1,
as chairman of the advisory council for an affiliate of North
America's largest life insurance company. Most recently, he was
appointed as an advisor to The Small Business Council
of America.
Mr. O’Neill maintains a strong presence
in industry and governmental affairs. He has served on committees
that have advised Congress and the U.S. Treasury on executive
and employee benefit plans, life insurance, and estate planning
issues. In addition, he has advised California legislators and
governors on business and economic issues.
Mr. O’Neill’s
book, The
Life Insurance Kit, was published by Dearborn
Financial Publishers in 1993. His articles on executive benefits,
estate planning, life insurance, and other financial topics have
appeared in Leaders Magazine, Life Association News, Financial
Services Week, The National Underwriter, Workforce, Employee Benefit
Plan Review, and other financial and legal publications. A nationally-recognized
speaker, he has lectured on retirement planning, executive benefits,
estate planning, and related topics to business owners, executives,
federal legislators, benefits professionals, accountants, attorneys,
and consumers.
